to help keep my mind off of being homesick, I want to share a new favorite song of mine. Everywhere I go, I hear this song playing. I heard it at the store a few times and at the beauty shop and it has been in my mind ever since. So, I decided to look it up so I could enjoy listening to it here at home too 
It is called 거짓말 or Lies by the band, BigBang. I know that some of you will laugh at me for liking Korean pop songs, but it is really good. Take a listen: (this is the music video)

The video seems so sad and depressing. I don’t think it would cheer me up. What is it about the song that you like?

ha ha, I just like the tune of the song. The video doesn’t show really what the song is about. It is very dramatic. The lyrics are really good and I wish I could put up when they are performing it live instead of the overly dramatic music video.

ok, the above comment says “dandawg” which would usually mean that it is Daniel writing. However, it was I, Marquita, who wrote that comment. Sorry about the mix-up. Although, if you pressed Daniel on it, he would say that he also enjoys that song.

Yeah, I think the videos here don’t always match the songs either. Sometimes they’re pretty dark and you wonder who came up with that! Usually when I really like a song I have my own images in my head. What is the children’s music like over there?
